4 Yoga Poses to Ease Menstrual Cramps

I wrote this article for Active.com years ago and the content is great but it was edited in a really funny way in the beginning. It claims that chocolate and other indulgences, such as red wine, are not nurturing choices when our moon cycle shows up. Let me clarify, I don’t agree….everything in moderation! Certainly yoga might be the more healthy choice or maybe more directly beneficial to easing menstrual cramps, but anything that makes you feel loved and nurtured even if a little indulgent certainly is therapeutic. The article below offers four yoga poses that will help relax the nervous system, relieve low-back pain, reduce leg and abdominal aches, calm your emotions, and ease other menstrual discomforts. A little chocolate never hurts too!
